Demetrios Dresses

Has anyone bought a Wedding Dress by him? Are they really expensive?

I did...It was not too expensive- I spent $1025 and that includes any alterations I will need.

I did. I paid ~940 plus alterations- not done yet
it was a trunk show dress

I think his dresses range from a little less than 1K to 2-3K. They showed me dresses in my price range so not sure how much the rest of his line were.

They are beautiful gowns, not too pricey and seem very well made... i bought mine for 1250 including a hollow to hem charge and tax

I also got a hem to hallow alteration, my dress was 1220.00 I still need to have some minor alterations, hopefully they won't be expensive.

I got mine from Fantasia Bridal in Rocky point, they had a pretty large selection of them. Not a very fancy store, but they a very helpful stuff, and a lot gowns to choose from.

Tried on at macys, but bought at burton's bc they gave me one of the better prices i could find... btw, estelle's also carries demetrios.. i was surprised to see my gown in there

I got mine at Macys in Smithhaven.....It was 1500....was one of the more expensive ones i tried on

mine was just over 1000...plus alterations..pretty average. His gowns are GORGOUS & very good quality!

ps: Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point is amazing...they have a whole slew of Demetrios gowns, and they will price match if u find the gown cheaper at any other store..not to mention their seamstresses are renound! good luck!

Nope, not at all. Mine was actually about $900 plus alterations.

You can find Demetrios A LOT cheaper than what they sell in Macy's. About 20% cheaper any where else.

I got mine at Macy's Smith Haven...it was $1350 but with 15% off because I bought it during a trunk show. I also got that discount on my veil and tiara. Check the papers for ads about the trunk shows

Mine ended up being about $1300 but I also added buttons to the dress and some other details

Exactly what i'm doing- Burtons was like $500 cheaper then Macy's- Try them on at macy's then write down the style number and call around.

i got mine here as well!! Love them they have been amazing, My dress was $1500 I think.
What I loved about them the most is i told them i only wanted to spend 1000 and all they showed me were dresses for 1000...i found my dress and she no honey that is beyond your budget but my mom told me to try it and needless to say she bought it. but my point is ifyou give them a budget they will make it work!!

I love mine!!! it's so beautiful and the details is amazing! the pricing is not that bad and you can find them 'cheaper' from different places...mine is not from a NY venue... but you could try house of brides. I got mine at a boutique house of brides that is super nice and very personal and friendly they are great! (at least the people I have dealt with)
