I think I may have found my dress today, i have only been to a couple stores i found this one at macy's smithaven but i was wondering if anyone found thier prices beat anywhere else better, i did a search and people say burtons in huntington, macys does give you 10% off the gown if you register there too so thats an incentive bure i can find this gown cheaper, maybe even DBS is that possible, any thoughts?

But just keep in mind, that once your dress comes in you must pick it up in 30 days, they don't have storage! But prolly if you wanted they would quote you a price and watch for if it was going to be DQ'ed and order when your date was closer..

I have my eye set on a demetrios dress too. I too went to MACYS, but the one in Manhasset. I didn`t know you get 10% off the dress if you are registered there. I thought just 10% off of the BM dresses. Well that`s good to know. Demetrios makes beautiful dresses. I have a mag that has only demetrios dresses, I`ll let you know where else thay carry that line.

RK bridal says they will beat any price, so find the lowest price around and then go there or call and see less it is, Also at RK if you want you can have your dress shipped out of State (NJ or somewhere you have friends or family) and you wont have to pay taxes. then either bring it there for alterations or somewhere else, can save you alittle more (depending on price of dress).

(I saw a Demetrios dress I liked too but it was $1500 more then I want to pay. I still have plenty more shopping trips planned and when I finally make my decision I am definitely going to check back at RK to see if they will give me the best price, doesnt hurt to try)
Which gown? Mine is also a Demetrois- how funny is that. Debbie gave me a much better price than Macy's. Be careful about taking your gown home in 30 days after it comes in. That is not a great idea since your gown cannot just be stored in a packed closet.

what about other places in manhattan? I here Rk is great i am definetly planning on checking that out the dress is Y19 style #2595 Its tulle ballgown strapless. i think i love it the more i think about it hee hee so exiting! I am sample size so i have been posting all over where i could go to find off the rack or warehouses that might save me some money, i also emailed DBS for a quote and netbride, anyone here anything about ordering online?

i bought my demetrios gown there.They had it in two months before they even expected to.Definetly check them out or you can just call and see if they have it and they can look it up by style number and quote the price for you.
It saved me even more money because they do not have to recoup the price of the sample. Call her and ask her for a price quote. Another hint: Since you have 8 girls tell her that if you get your BM dresses there will she give you a bigger discount. Instead of giving the girls 10% off their dresses (which only save them like $20) tell her to take off another $100 on your price.
Adrienne's in Islip beat Macy's price on my Demetrios gown. I then had Bridal Suite in Bay Shore match that price since I wanted to make the purchase there.
I just ordered my demetrios gown from Burtons. They beat Macy's price by ALOT! Hope this helps.
