Was any one on it and then came off it. How long did it take to get your friend. I have been off it for about 2 months and still have not got anything at all. Please let me know any info you got Thank You

I was on Depo for about 5 years and never got AF--then about a year ago when FH and I started talking seriously about getting married and our future, I decided it would be best to start getting AF again to assure things were in proper working order. I changed over to BCP after coming off the Depo (I waited for my first AF AFTER the 12 week mark--which took about 3 1/2 months for a total of 6 1/2 months after my last Depo injection--and LOTS of condoms--yuck!) AF finally came, and I've been on the pill since.
The normal wait time for AF after your Depo wears off is 2 1/2- 4 months....so, you're still in the normal range...no worries

I was on it for about 5 years also, when I went off it I had already started breaking through, thats why I went off, so when I didn't go for the last injection, I got my AF that same month. But my Dr. did tell me it could be a few months so I wouldn't worry!

I was on it for 3 years and it took me 5 months after the shot was supposed to wear off to get AF. I read that it takes longer if you are thin or lost weight while on the shot.
And then it was sooo irregular - on the short side - every 2-3 weeks ugh.. But now, 9 months later, it's getting closer to norm.
