Can someone give me an approximate deposit amount for the florist. Is it based on your flower budget? Would 10% work i.e. $200 for a 2K budget?

I only have a small order - around $500 - and all the places I saw wanted $100 up front.

Thanks ladies! I guess I should just call the florists I like and see if they will tell me a percentage amount for the booking. The thing is that FH's brother and SIL are paying for our flowers so I wouldn't mind doing the deposit myself and just getting it back from them but who knows. Thanks again for your responses.

20% percent. But any real vendor will work with you when it comes to a deposit.
