depressed...anyone else feel like this when....

I got 3 responses back today...one yes the other 2 no..but i kinda knew they would respond no anyway. But when I saw it, I got soooo depressed! Now i am convinced that everyone is going to respond no! Did anyone else feel like this or think of this?? I am so depressed right now! I feel so dumb!

yep, been there. I got 2 more no's & 1 yes again today. It *****, but you can't sulk. Last week I got 12 yesses in 1 day! I think most people get a little of everything.

I'm not there yet, but I can imagine feeling a bit 'insulted' at those saying 'no.' Not that the world should stop because I'm getting married, but I'd be surprised... After all, all of our family & friends have known about this forever, they better be coming!!

It's funny because at first I was only gettig yes's (60 yes's to 2 no's). My FI and I were hoping for no's (our guest list is larger than we originally thought it would be so it is startig to go over budget!).

But the first no came and it did make me kind of sad...but it was very short term. We understand people have commitments (vacations, other weddings, etc.) so not everyone can be here. Then even more depressing - 2 people on my guest list died in one week! We are now hoping for all yes's...we do not need anymore no's esp. that way.

We are at about 85 yes's and 14 no's.

Don't panic - my FI did when we got 4 or 5 nos in a day, and told his father to come up with more guests (without my knowledge) Needless to say, it ended up adding more stress, because I didn't know they were told to give me more names and I was getting calls, like 'we thought of 3 more people!' and I was freaking out because I was expecting some nos and had no more envelopes for the invites. I could strangle him! Anyway - we ended up having the exact number we expected.

Dont feel that way. I got really sad when I got back no's. I knew that they would respond no, but I also felt that I didnt care whether they came. Its just the whole thought of seeing that NO. Just think about the ones who are coming, that is what counts!!!

Actually we're hoping to get some 'no responses' because we are expecting a lot of people already.

If you already knew those people were not attending then try not to feel bad. Not everyone will be able to attend the wedding. Just try to remember those who will be there.
