Can anyone recommend their dermatologist? Thinking about getting microdermabrasion done to erase some acne scars.

Mine is Dr. Deborah Porges in Roslyn. I haven't been in a couple of years, but she was great when I went to her.

Dr. Leichter in Oceanside, LOVE him! $150 a pop, and you will need a bunch to get rid of scars, I did it once and saw no difference, then my $$$ ran out!!!

try glycolic peels, I think they have better & are a lot cheaper. Can be done at atlantis health.

Dr. Fern in Commack. She's really great. She practices with Dr. Hahn who I think is kind of creepy, so if you call make sure you get appointemt with Dr. Fern.

I used to go to Dr. Ronald Falcon in Long Beach. He's so nice. I had really bad skin as a teenager and he helped through it! My mom still goes to him. Don't let them pawn you off on another dermotologist though - he's the best at the practice I think. He has other offices in I think Lynbrook & Massapequa...but Long Beach is his main practice, I think it's called Island Dermotology.
