i am looking for recommendations for a dermatologist preferably someone who specializes in acne. I don't care where I have to go either Nassau or NYC. Thanks!!

Dr. jennifer and eric fryer. I have been going to them for years. in fact , I have an appt tomorrow.

OK. The best doctor I've ever been to is Dr. Parikh in TriBeCa. I had been seeing a doctor for 10 years and my Acne was managed, but never went away- still had flare ups, etc..
well- I went to Dr. Parikh and my acne was cleared up within 6 months.
Dr. Krivo in Franklin Square on Dogwood Avenue...Excellent!!!!

I use Dr. Demento's office in Garden City too..actually my dr there is Dr. Rohksar.

Dr. Rosemarie Ingleton is excellent. She's around W. 4th but doesn't take my insurance anymore. I now go to Dr. Isabelle Ponge-Wilson on Park and 37th. She's very sweet and thorough.

Dr. Robert Skrokov in Bayshore is an acne specialist and very good. Also, Laurie Levine in Mineola.

Dr. Joseph Onorato!!! New Hyde Park Rd., Garden City.
So much fun!!! Not to mention after years of antibiotics and annoying creams (w/other derms)...I have beautifully clear skin after a tiny 6mths with him.
He's also helped me out with a funky rash I had on my neck..for years!
He took one look at it...zap it and it's gone! Also he took care of my 'abnormal cells' skin cancer.
