Descent wedding Price!

The RH is the largest part of the cost. You want to spend most of your money on that and on the dj/band. That is what people are going to remember.
You have to determine the number of guests before you can determine how much the RH will probably cost. For example, my RH is 105 per person before taxes. I added Venetian hour which brings it to 120/person. After taxes and tip, thats 156 a person. (Its starting to get a little crazy I know!). Now imagine if I had 100 guests, that would make the cost of my RH 15,600. If I had 200 guests, it would be 31,200. And it goes up and up. So you need to figure out a guest list... be overly generous with who you put on it now because as you go on, you keep adding more and more people, so overestimate... and then figure about how much you are willing to spend on RH. There are plenty of nice places in all price ranges.
I'm not sure what the price of a regular DJ would be. I'm having a DJ band fusion... which basically means a DJ with a couple of instrumentalists who play along with the song. That's 6,000. If you don't have the instrumentalists (which I don't think most places do), I think you can do this for like half the price.
All together for the limos (2), dj, florist (I'm going skimpy here), 1 shuttle bus, invitations (tried to go on the cheaper end here but I still ended up spending like 800), and photographer/videographer, I am spending about 16,000. I tried to be conservative here but it adds up so don't underestimate.

I know how you feel. I have a very expensive taste unfortunately, so I have a feeling my wedding will come out to a lot!!!! Our RH is costing us almost 25k just for 100 people and we are expecting about 120 people, so I guess I have to double that, if not more :(
I am deff getting a band, and I hear thats more expensive than a dj, so we shall see.... Weddings are crazy expensive :(

Okay if RH is 50% then I am looking at my wedding to cost between $10,000 to $12,000.

But I am having a small wedding.....about 75-85 ppl.
