I have looked at TONS of venues (literally almost 20 places!) and I think my favorite is deSeversky and I am thinking about booking there! I also liked the Woodlands and Carlye on the Green. If anyone has had/or is having their wedding at one of these places and has anything to add or extra advice that could help me make my decision please let me know! Thanks :)

Re: deSeversky?
I got married there last April. It is a gorgeous venue. There is so much you can do to make your wedding unique. I worked with Eric. He was great. There are some pictures in my album and some on my photographers website. Click Recent Weddings - Camille and Troy No complaints. Lots of compliments. I could go on and on. If you have specific questions, feel free to FM. Happy Planning!!! and Congrats!

Re: deSeversky?
I'm a Carlyle bride!! I've never been to a wedding at DeSeversky, but I have been to formal charity events there. DeSeversky is absolutely gorgeous, but I was blown away by the ballroom at Carlyle. Also, I'm not sure how you would be setting up your wedding at DeSeversky, but I liked how dinner and dancing was in the same ballroom at Carlyle.

Re: deSeversky?
I'm getting married at de Seversky! For the minute I walked in, I knew it was the place. Through the whole process everyone has been great, we have heard only wonderful things about this place as well. We recently did a tasting, and the food was phenomenal!!!
Depending of the number of guests you have, that will determine how the wedding is set up. 1f you have 150 and under you do dinner and dancing in the ballroom. If you have over 150, you do dinner in one room, and dancing in another. It just depends on what style you like and whether or not you want something traditional. We are definitely having under 150, so it worked out because we wanted a traditional set up.
