I'm getting married in the Fall. My bridesmaids are wearing burgundy. Do the flowers and seating cards and all, have to match the bridesmaids? I wanted to do all fall colors, like gold, orange, and rust, but I'm being told to stick with red.

Re: design question
i don't think there's anything wrong with adding other colors. most people pick an accent...like i might have the girls in apple red, but the flowers will have purple tones. do what you like!!

No they do not have to match the bridesmaids. I am doing a fall theme also and am incorporating all of the colors.... cinnamon, chocolate brown, latte, ivory, burgundy

No, I wouldn't have everything in burgundy, that would be too much of just one color. However, I would make sure that the colors you use compliment the burgundy. The Fall offers such a beautiful palette with the browns, yellows, and oranges; you're certainly safe to use them!!

IMO: I say gold and orange it up!!!! Fall is all about lots of vibrant colors. Don't just stick to red. Make it stand out. It is easy to make it look classy as opposed to trashy and you sound like you can complement the Burgundy nicely!
Good Luck

Thanks all. I feel better. You should have seen the looks I was getting from my FH. He thinks I'm crazy.
