Designer shoes worth it???

Original post by Chloegirl

What brand has the most comfortable shoes?

Is it worth it to pay the big bucks for the designers?

I am looking for closed toe ... about 2-2 1/2 inch heel...but something pretty with a bow or something. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

For me, spending $$$ on shoes - regardless of who sees them or not - is of the utmost importance. I will be on my feet for a record number of hours, I want to be comfortable - not complaining thta my feet and/or back hurt. In my experience, I get more comfort from more expensive shoes than I do out of cheaper shoes.

Also, 9 times out of 10, you can dye your wedding shoes black. (I have found that you can't dye Kenneth Cole shoes for whatever reason...)

I love a pair of Grace shoes but I believe those are not dyeable either (if that's a consideration for you). They do make beautiful shoes and are a little less expensive than some of the others.

I found that Moonlight Couture in Merrick has a large selection of designer shoes including Cynthia Rowley, Entrata, Shelley George, Grace, Salon shoes as well as some of the less expensive brands. Good place to look for a variety of prices and styles.

yes, I would spend more moeny for comfort, even if i never dye them or where them ever again.
Designer is not important b/c they don't show much ( keep in mind they will if yuo do the garter thing), but some of the ones with beadign are so pretty! However, soem designer sheos can be very comfy , b/c they are well made.

I need to find wide with closed toe shoes. Does anyway know any places in manhattan or Westchester. I tried RK, but they didn't have much, & no one was there to help, I'm thinking of Macy's Herald Square & DSW in Yonkers. Is it worth going to David's for shoes?
