Desparately seeking hair help.....please help me...

I was so convinced that I just wanted my hair blown out really straight. I have very curly hair and love it straight. I said I still wanted to feel like myself. Well...Now Im changing my mind. I have the veil, just got the tiara and when I try it on..it looks nice..but Im kind of thinking of trying something different. I love up do's on other people..just not crazy on me..I think I have prom and homecoming flashbacks...I am thinking maybe a messy updo..does anyone know what I am talking about? Or maybe something half up and half down? If anyone has any pictures..or suggestions..I would be so thankful. Im startin to stress about this! Thanks so much!

I am using Denise Venti for my wedding... she does great work! Her website is www.deniseventi.com, and there is a gallery that shows tons of pics of all the work she does.

I originally wanted my hair blown out straight for my wedding, but then I talked to brides who wore their hair down and hated it because of how hot & sweaty they got, and their hair ended up not looking so good! I also fell in love with a tiara that makes me have to wear my hair up... but anyway, check out Denise's website, for ideas if nothing else!

I know how you feel, I'm not so crazy about the up do either. I'm doing a half up/half down, soft waves, nothing too stiff or 'constructed'. I think there may be a hair thread around here some where, try a search, or maybe someone will bump it for you.

Do a search for Jennbaby's hair pictures, she did half up, half down, and she really looked beautiful.

I went for a trial, and had her do it mostly up with a few tendrils hanging. It looked great, never moved and I didn't feel like my hair was overdone.
