ok so heres the story....my sister and i are getting married not even 5 months apart....i know, my poor parents.....haha... they have asked us just to pay for our photographer/videographer...no biggie....DF freaked out a little bit when i told him this and he's scared about $$. He is starting a new job (cop in NJ--they do a little better then out here) and I am just finishing college (def not a high roller yet lol).... which photographers should i look at with midline prices??? I am scared that the cheaper i go, the less quality i will get (duh??)....who can you all reccommend that is on the cheaper side and still does a great job?!?! My sister is paying $5200 for photos and video and i think thats a lot....she went with Artisan....helllllpppp!!

Golden Moments did have really good prices. We got an even better deal from Jeffrey Studios though and we really liked his work. Another bride who was leaving when we came in for our appointment was raving about him!
check out danial s. krieger in mount sinai he did my sisters wedding and my sister got a good price. he was great her pics are beautiful no complaints plus he is a vendor on this site!

I HIGHLY recommend Golden Moments too. Dan and Pat do beautiful work and have great personalities. They also have great pricing. They worked with me to get to a price I was really happy with.
Check out Candid Like Life. I used them for my wedding and they were GREAT! I got a good package for under $3000 and I know they have videography services available for a good price. They are a vendor on here. Good luck!

Velvet!! I got photo and video for 4295..2 photographers, 1 videographer, 8x10 storybook with 90 images and mini book (same as album but tiny), 1 11x14, 2 8x 10, all proofs 4x6, all proofs on a cd, 3 edited dvds and raw footage with a free engagement session
and their pics are beautiful!! do a search on brides review to see samples

Thomas Paul is awesome - very easy to talk to and I'm sure he would work with you...plus he's got a great payment plan which helps out alot!!

For photography I recommend Twelfth Night. They do an awesome job. They do not do video, but will recommend someone to you. We could not afford the videographer associated with them so we went with someone else (NY Video). Good Luck!

I second the rec. for 12th night. Amazing work, very reasonable. You can either use the videographer they recommend (Mittermax) or pick a different one. Mittermax has a basic package that isn't too bad.
