DESPERATELY want to try on a Jasmine Collection dress!!
I’ve fallen in love with a couple of styles from the Jasmine Collection, but I’m having an impossible time locating them! It seems the only place nearby is the Wedding Center in Commack, and I’ve read so many negative reviews about that place…is it worth it to just go and try it on? I haven’t looked anywhere yet, so I really don’t want my first time out to be horrible. Can anyone recommend anywhere else?

I went there for my 1st time dress shopping.. and they were pretty rude you can only try on a certain # of dresses, and they just rush you,.. as well as trying to sell you on EVERYTHING else they have there.I also heard they really like to bang you out on the fittings.. I found my picks of dresses there but trying to get them a maybe davids bridal... If you know the make and style # of your dress alot of places will see if they can get it in for you.
Sorry for the rant..
I would not reccomend them... maybe HELENS !

No need to apologize about ranting! I’ve heard this about them from a lot of girls…and I know I’m the kind of overly sensitive person where I have a really bad experience the first time out, I will just drag my feet even more about getting a dress. Thanks for your opinion!

i got my dress from helens! I love them. I would never send anyone to wedding CENTER!! ugh! i dont like them at all. but some girls have had good experiences there. i would call helens and see if they have the dress in stock here is the nymber...........1-631-543-6300

My dress is by Jasmine Couture...try Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. If you know the particular style # of the dress you can call them to see if they carry it before you make the trip! GOOD LUCK!

My sister tried on some at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa and RK Bridal in the City.

Awesome—RK Bridal wasn’t listed on the Jasmine website, but it says Jasmine on RK Bridal’s site so that’s good enough for me! That’s the one store I’ve really wanted to go to.

Yeah the store is amazing and so are the prices. I worked with Janice she is so sweet and patient

If TWC has the largest selection you can always try on the gowns there and if you don't like the people there, order it somewhere else

I worked with Sonia... shes great at RK Bridal too... and they have tons of jasmine dresses... if you do Bridal Reflections, make sure you call to see if they have the dress they ship them back and forth between the 3 stores.. so call and make sure it is there when you want to go...

Im not sure were you live but Fantasia bridal on 25A in Rocky Point carries Jasmine and they are soo friendly there. You should call too see if they have the samples in 631-744-7200. They will let you try on as many dresses as you want. And ask for Linda, shes the one that helps me and is soo freakin nice. :)

I am in the same boat! There is one particular Jasmine collection dress I want to try on. I e-mailed Jasmine asking where I should go and they said the only store in NY state that has it to try on is RK Bridal. They told me the size Rk has there and everything!

i got my jasmine at lilette's in baldwin. gerri was great to work with. the jasmine website also has a link where it tells you what stores in your area carry their dresses.

I got mine there. Had a great experience. I originally went to Lillettes in Baldwin, but they do a few things I was not happy with (FM for details). Bridal Reflections matched Lillettes price!
