...my sister's dog had to be put to sleep last night. Apparently, because she was so old, her brain was shutting down and she was choking because her brain wasn't telling her throat to swallow. My sister is devastated- she's had that dog for 8 years and she loved her so much. And she's young- 17- so this is the first time she's really had to deal with death. Most of my grandparents/great aunts and uncles died when she was very young and my childhood dog died when she was very young. I feel even worse that her and my mom had to make the decision to put her to sleep. But ultimately, they knew it was the right thing, they didn't want her to suffer anymore. Between all the wedding drama, PMS, arguing with FH, and now poor Emma being put to sleep, I don't think I've ever cried so much in a week! Please keep my sister in your prayers. Thanks ladies.

Oh no!!! Poor little Emma! My heart goes out to your sister (and you and your family), it's so heartbreaking to lose the family dog.
