Re: Desserts ( yum yum)
I am just doing 1 dessert chocolate mousse and the wedding cake.I wanted to do the Vienesse hour but everybody kept telling me its a waste of food. I went to a wedding a few weeks ago where they had it and nobody ate from it and all the food stood.
On the other hand it did look beautiful and delicious.

Re: Desserts ( yum yum)
Just an idea...If you do the Viennese Hour, invest in the small cardboard bakery boxes (most wedding favor places have them), they are really cheap and they can be set up during the Viennese for your guests to take stuff home with them. This way, none of it goes wasted and the money you spent isn't either!

We did a full Viennese hour - it was a big hit. I'm glad we decided to do it.

Re: Desserts ( yum yum)
I'm still debating on this one. Whether to do Viennese hour or not. It's $10 more per person. It's expensive and NOT necessary but SOOOO nice

Re: Desserts ( yum yum)
I'm just doing my cake, and we get to choose another dessert. I figured by the time dessert comes the guests will be getting stuffed.

Re: Desserts ( yum yum)
Happybride we had chocolate cups, our wedding cake and ice cream, which a lot of people did not eat. They told me they were too stuffed from the cocktail hour and the main course to eat anything else. CB feeds you....We did not find it necessary to add anything else after we planned our menu and saw how much food there would have been.I think it is a nice idea to have boxes so the guest can take it with them. If you don't have extra dessert I don't think people are going to miss it, if you can afford it I am sure it will be a nice addition.

Re: Desserts ( yum yum)
our dessert is a 'nuggatine basket' which is like this thin waffle type edible basket, with three scoops of different flavor sorbet in it, and raspberry sauce. Wedding cake ( which we haven't picked yet, add another thing to that list!), and then there will be choc. covered strawberries on each table, along with a plate of maple leaf shaped maple syrup candies that we bought ourselves since FH is from montreal!Welcome New Vendors
