I would send them out asap. I just returned from a wedding in Key West and we didn't know about the wedding until 2 months prior. Many guests paid an awful lot for tickets that they could have gotten a better price on had they had more advance notice.

My brother had a destintion wedding in Jamaica. He planned the wedding in 6 months. The prblem with waiting to long totell people is that they miss out on the cheap deals. Give them the date as soon as you have it. Better to tell them to early than to late.

Our wedding is next October as well & I'm sending our STD magnets in January. Of course, we are getting married on LI. Italy is a lot more to save(& plan) for, but oh how romantic !!!
