Can anyone give me any info as to pricing on a destination wedding? How much do you save comared to having it at a reception hall?

It all depends on where you go and who you invite! The really nice hotels can still cost you up to $200 per plate (and also keep in mind you probably have to invite a everyone to the reception dinner/brunch). We looked into as a way to save $$ but realized quickly unless you keep it REALLY small it doesn't really save you too much $$.
It's an AWESOME idea. I'm love to get married on a beach in the carribean!

I just got engaged in aruba durning new years week... We looked at the divi it was about 50 a head... fm if u need more info

Sandals Royal Bahamian is about $75 per head, but you'll have significantly less people attending than you would at a typical wedding in LI.

depends on where you go, my friend is getting married on st. thomas and she hired through the cruise line a planner to include all that for her...
