I went to a destination wedding in Estes Park, Colorado. Apparently, it's the second most popular destination wedding spot, only second to Vegas. My friend got married at the Stanley Hotel - the white hotel made famous by the movie 'The Shining'. I think they have 'haunted tours' at night - I was too scared to go though. But the wedding was breath taking. The outside ceremony had the mountains the background - and there were great views from inside too. There is more than one wedding at a time though, and it's not the easiest to get to...fly into Denver then drive about 2 hours to get there. But it was a lot of fun, and the most unique wedding I've ever been to.

The Keys is a definate! My FH brother got married on Marathon (one of the Keys) at sunrise! GORGEOUS! Then they had a brunch reception. We go there every year! Our wedding theme is 'The Keys'

A friend of mine did LAs Vegas and it was AWESOME! she arranged to get married at the Cathedral in Las Vegas so she had her Mass and everything... did not get married in some cheesy chapel. she had her reception in the Mandalay Bay.
The whole weekend was a blast. All the family and friends met up and went to the pool, gambled, went to the bars, etc. (She got married on a Friday) Many of us made it a 4 day weekend.,\

Sedona in Arizona is one of the most beautiful, romantic, soulful, relaxing places I've ever been to. FH and I considered it for a wedding spot... I have no idea as far as $$ goes, but definitely look into it... Every sunset there is more breathtaking than the last!
