DH and I just got back from LI...
We made our first visit up there since our wedding last August. Anyway, last Thursday was my 12 week mark. I had my doc appt. on Wednesday afternoon since we were leaving to go to LI. This was the first time they used the doppler to hear the heartbeat. They found it right away! It was still exciting even though I've heard it 3 other times before then. July 31st is my 16 week appt. and they said they do the AFP test. I believe that's for down syndrome. Now there's something else for me to worry about! Then comes the big one... Just about on our 1 year wedding anniversary and our 10 year anniversary of being together we get to find out what it is!!! I can't wait! I really want a boy... but as long as it's healthy, I'm sure I won't care. But I do feel guilty about wanting a boy and not so much a girl. I just have a lot of experience with boys. Anyway... just giving an update. This Thursday I believe marks the second trimester right??? 13 weeks?
