for tomorrow 10AM....our lawyer was trying his darndest to get the lawsuit to end today.....

what kind of case is it... I've seen car accidents settle just before/after/sometimes during depositions.

it is a car accident lawsuit in which DH was hit by an 18 wheeler in his Ford Focus 3 YEARS AGO!

This was before we were together, so I only know what he's told me/shown me

I don't think you will have to worry... I'm not an attorney; but it's been my experience that once they realize their client was at fault they push to settle. Your FH's testimony at the depo should do it.

Attorney's usually wait to see how strong the deposition testimony is and then settle according to that

it really depends on the circumstances of the case. FH can always communicate to his attorney he wishes to settle quickly.

I am doing a depo tommorow. The chances are slim, but maybe I will be on the case.
