DH's friend was a bit late showing up

She and her husband came right after the cake cutting, ate cake, and went home.

Kind of ridiculous!

especially since when DH spoke to her about it, she said 'yeah, i'm sorry - we got home at 5:30am and didn't hear our alarm' ... what a dumb excuse.

oh well, we didn't even notice that they weren't there until the following day ... and at least they still made it for a LITTLE bit
