is it just me or is that a little weird? a graduation on a HUMP day in the middle of the day.

DH graduated on a friday afternoon ... it was just as annoying
i don't understand why colleges do that!
ETA: with Dec 23rd, it's like a friday since most people are off from work the following day (for xmas eve)

DH's graduation a few years ago was in the middle of the week also, and mine will be on a Tuesday at 3pm in May... of course it has to be smack in the middle of the day.

my law school graduation was at 8pm on a sunday night which was worse than being midweek because everyone had work the next day and i had to be there at 6pm so no dinner for me until 11pm!
it's so weird that they make graduations weird times now.
