One of the diamonds fell out of the band of my ring - small, pave diamond. Is this common?? Easy to fix? Does insurance cover that? Ahh. It is 14k if that helps

Yes pave diamonds can fall out. Go back to where you purchased it and have them replace the pave diamond. I am sure they will do it as a courtesy instead of you going through insurance. I would only go through insurance if something major happened like you lost the center stone.
If the place you originally got it from wants to charge an arm and a leg FM me and I will give you my jewelers information.

the 1st month I had my ring 1 of the diamonds got very loose & almost fell out. I brought it to the place & they had no problem fixing it for me, no questions asked & no charge.

Same thing happened to me; I went to Jared (not where he got it) and it was really inexpensive to replace b/c all the stones around the big one are tiny.
It would't be worth it for us to go thru insurance b/c we have a deductible. We just paid out of pocket; they tightened all the other prongs, cleaned / polished, etc. it wasn't expensive at all

Wow..yea def. bring it back ..insur. covers that so i hear.....yea i didnt even get insur. yet on mine...im doing it soon though

A diamond in my band fell out a few days after I got engaged.. I took it back and they fixed it. I didnt have to go through insurance.

Can you take it back to where you got it? Mine is from Jareds and FH paid for the service plan so it gets fixed for free.

That is a pretty common issue with pave settings. I lost a stone in my band also, FH brought it back to our jeweler and repaired it for free. Good as new.

i have about 50 pave stones on my ring and one fell out about 3 months after i got engaged. FH called the place he bought the ring from and i went into the city to get it fixed at their cost.

omg so scary!! I would definitely speak to them. I know they told my FH to bring it back to them if anything EVER happens. I'm sure they will treat you well, afterall they want you to get your wedding bands from them too

What she said!!! One of my pave stones fell out after almost a year a few weeks ago and my jeweler just replaced it. We do have insurance, but depending on your deductible (ours was $500) it might not be worth it.

one of my pave diamonds fell out the 2nd day I got it! Our jeweler replaced it for free when we got home from Europe.
Just be thankful it wasn't the main diamond!!!!

That happened to one of my pave diamonds a few weeks after my engagement due to the work to make the ring a bit smaller.
I took it to the jeweler that we got the ring from, and he replaced it in 20 minutes

I have heard that pave diamonds can come out sometimes because they are so tiny and close together at lease thats what one jeweler told us. I would bring it back to wear you got it from. I'm sure they could fix it for you.
