i have a diamond and sapphire engagement ring (and i loooovvveee it). just wondering if anyone else got blue sapphires (or colored stones in their rings). please post pictures if you have them.
im not sure what type of wedding band i should get. (sapphires to go with it... just diamonds... plain.... )
any suggestions for a wedding band?

here's a shot of my e-ring
I don't have a photo of my ring with my band, but I got a plain gold band. I tried on bands that had stones in them and none fit very well, so I went with a plain gold band with rounded edges. It is so comfortable. The bands i tried that had stones in them were not comfy at all, and they rubbed up against my ering strangely, and my jeweler said that eventually, the ering would need to be reset b/c of the rubbing. Since my diamond is a family stone (it was DH's mothers) i didn't want to take the chance of losing it.
I would go and try on some bands that have stones in them and see if you find one that is comfortable. You can always have sapphires changed in for diamonds.

My friend has almost that EXACT e-ring and her band is 4 small diamonds then 2 small sapphires on each side that line up with the sapphires in the e-ring then two more diamonds outside of that. It looks SO beautiful together! I think she had to get it custom made though, I know she had such a hard time finding a band

I have an aquamarine (picture is in my album). We're just going to get plain platinum bands from Tiffany's. I wanted to match his and I like the idea of just a plain band. I guess I'm a little traditional.

that ring is gorgeous! i would go with a diamond or plain wedding band...i think more sapphires would be too much.

Here is mine....I love it! Don't have a great picture of it and its much nicer in person...lots of detail.
I actually was lucky enough to find an amzing wedding band in the Diamond District...it is almost an exact match...has diamond and sapphires and dips down a little so it fits perfectly underneath
I never took pics of it and FH is hiding it from me until the day of

my friend has a ring she got at a mall jewler...it is millgrain with very very tiny completely channel set rubies.....in sapphires it would be a good match. It is a very subtle ring, very elegant.
