Diamond White Dress

Ok SO.... my dress is diamond white, and recently FH and I went to look at tuxes/vests and everything. At Mens Warehouse & Sal's Tuxes, I was advised to get a swatch of my dress to make sure we match the vests to the dress. (I guess if the vest is a pure white, it can make a diamond white dress look dirty or something.)

So I contacted Kleinfelds and they informed me that my designer does not provide swatches. I was referred to the Mens Dept... the gentleman in the Mens Dept checked out my dress and told me that I should get a plain white vest for the GM & FH.



So... what are you girls with Diamond White dresses doing????

I agree with what you were told - if you put diamond white next to white it could look dirty.

On it's own diamond white looks like white but next to pure white there is a difference.

I would push the men's department to get the swatch - if you can't get it through Kleinfels maybe contact the designer directly. I find it strange that they don't offer swatches.

I think in the end it would give you piece of mind to make sure everything looks consistent.

i honestly cant remember what we are doing, I knwo his vest is textured and its not white... I want to say its ivory.

but i agree with the whole point of diamind and regular white.. put a diamond white dress next to a white one and it will look dirty.
