DH wore a white shirt- it looked fine with my diamond white gown... also the FG had a Victorian Lilac and white dress and it also looked good next to my gown- all the guys wore white shirts btw.

Yes we looked at the ivory and it was way too yellow- it would have made DH's shirt looking dingy compared to my gown.

If possible get a swatch of your gown to compare to the shirt color and see what looks best.

white, ivory was too yellow....they tried to tell me I would be angry and cry if I don't pick Ivory for the shirts, and I was like no, too bad, I want white.

DH wore a white shirt...and my dress was ivory. That looked fine. If your FH's tux is black..sometimes the ivory kind of looks dirty...depending on who you go to.

White is completely 100% fine. My dress was ivory and FH wore a white shirt with and ivory vest and tie. My dress did NOT look dingy in the least, it looked ivory. And his shirt looked white and his vest and tie looked ivory. Nothing looked dingy or dirty. Please don't worry about it at all.
