Diamond White vs. White Dress

I am confused between the color of my dress..... Please help me decide whether I should get it in Diamond White or White???

my dress was diamond white. its less stark white than actual white is. its more like an ivory. if you had to buy a veil to match a diamond white dress, you would buy ivory over white, as a true white veil would make the dress look dingy.

hope that helps. whatever the sample comes in, try on the other choice (by the same designer) to see which you like best with your skin tone.

i love my diamond white dress...

I was too, once they put the white white up to the diamond white, you can see the soft ivory color in the diamond white, yet the diamond white is white enough to be considered really white still. My dress is diamond white in my album :P

I think it depends on your skin tone.

I think I have a skin tone that looks better with ivory or diamond white but then I went with white anyway because it's classic and also because I felt it would be easier to match everything else rather than trying to find the 'right' ivory or diamond white

When people see a diamond white dress, it looks white. The thing is (as the girl above said), white is STARK white. There is a huge contrast on some people when the white is next to their skin color. Other people look good in white, some can't pull it off. I went to a wedding last March and the bride wore white and the dress looked horrible on her- the white made the dress look cheap. You need to try on a dress in both white and diamond white and see which looks better with your skin color (and your hair color and features).
