If you did, did you tell them it was your honeymoon when you booked? did you get any kind of special treatment, little extras,etc? Did they upgrade you in any way?
I booked mine awhile ago and thought I told them at the time that it was for our honeymoon. But looking at the 'special occasion' section of the reservation, its blank I was planning on calling them back and telling them to put 'honeymoon' down for special occassion....but unless we get some kind of upgrades or freebees, its kind of pointless, right?

We did the Carnival Liberty to Europe and there were no 'specials' for a hm couple. They had a newlywed type of game that we got picked for, but that was it.
I was told that 3/4 of their passengers have something 'special' going on...anniversary, birthday, hm, etc. and so they stopped with any upgrades, etc.
We also got on the daily closed circuit show and I handed in a wed pic I had & it got on the closed circuit TV & we got a bottle of champagne but that was all.
Have a wonderful time, what ship/cruise are you on?

Thanks for your help. We're sailing on the Carnival Valor in June.
I figured they didnt do anything special for that reason

We went on a Carnival cruise for the second leg of our HM. No special treatment!
It was a little bit of a bummer after going to Disney for the first part and getting treated very nicely!

I'm going on my honeymoon in March on a Carnival cruise. We told them it was a honeymoon and their response was 'I'll make a note, don't worry it'll be fun'.....whatever that means.....

Thanks for your help ladies. I just called Carnival to double check since a few girls on the '07 boards said they are getting free champagne in their rooms for it being their HM. Well, Carnival wouldnt even make a note of it on my reservation -- they said they dont do anything for honeymooners anymore, not even champagne
Oh well...it was worth a shot.

maybe your travel agent will do something for you?!? when we went on an NCL cruise after our engagement, our TA set it up that our room was decorated with balloons and streamers, and there was a 'Congratulations' cake waiting for us. i am sure her company paid for it, as i know you can order that type of stuff ahead to have ready in a room.
