nope but did purchase a pair for myself and one bm. Too many in my family thought it was very odd to purchase shoes for people to wear at a reception. They were like what happnes if it doesn't match my dress, i rather bring my own comfty shoes, etc.
Figured not to waste the money.

I am doing slipper baskets. I have them 2/3 of the way done...I'll post when we're finished. I wanted to do flip flops but figured that most people will probably wearing pantyhose so they were out. We opted for the chinese slippers.

No, I didn't. I bought little fuzzy slipper-socks for myself and for my bridal party as part of their gift, but that's it. I don't think anyone in my family would have known what that was for (I never heard of it until I signed up on LIW and have never been to a wedding that had one, although I do think it's a cute idea).

uh,no. for me, i just don't see the point. i never heard of them before coming to this site. and at my wedding, not ONE person, myself included, complained about their feet hurting. at wedding i've been to in the past, i just took my shoes off, and if i didn't have stockings on, i just made sure i wore comfortable heels. i just don't think i'll ever understand the slipper basket thing. Thanks! they were really cute and sooo soft. I got myself white, my BM & MOH black and my flower girls hot pink. The buttons look like big rhinestones and they had treads on the bottom. They were easy to fold up and put in a pocketbook.

Nope. My attitude is that people know they are going to a wedding where they might potentially be dancing all night. Why would you where shoes that you couldn't dance in? I'm definitely not spending more money for people to change into comfy slippers when they should have thought about it before they came.
