did any of your dh's not do any shopping yet

my dh was supposed to go shopping for the men this year and I went shopping for the women. Well it dec 22 and he still has not gone. he claims he is going tommorrow. He is not worried at all. But I am. He thinks Im being silly for worry. I just hate procrastinating.

mine went last night and did really well. I bought for everyone and he only had to shop for me. He left it to last minute and i guess did ok. He came in with tons of bags so i guess i made out pretty well. I hope.

I take care of the shopping so DH only has to shop for me for that exact reason!

quick question for all newlyweds, was there something in the vows that said the wives do all of the shopping? I talked with a few of my newly married friends and all of the wives are saying they did all of the shopping and left their DH with only them to shop for. I just found this funny because for the last 5 years i have been with my DH he shops for his fam and i shop for mine, now that we are married i shop for everyone. I don't mind i just find it funny.

My DH has been a very good boy this year. Has done a lot more shopping than I have.

I do the shoping for both families... if it was up to him he'd give all his nieces and nephews cash or gift cards, which they'd probably prefer but I like to get everyone something more personal.

I sooo know he is going out XMAS eve to get my present! It's become an expected tradition...

my guy does not shopping not even for me cause we do not exchange gifts. But, I always get him something. Okay, Im greedy but I thikn he should get me a little something

oh and by the way it really annoys me because I spend a few weeks thinking of things to get him...i put thought into it. And he just runs out and grabs whatever he can!

DH went yesterday to shop for me and he was gone for all of 3 hours....he always leaves it for last minute but he knows what he wants when he sees it.....he's such a wierd shopper.

I shopped for everyone else in both families....

My BF always waits to the last minute. I try year after year to get started early and he always ends up down to the wire. He went last night alone for 4 gifts, came back with only one (granted it was mine:)). He says he'll go tomorrow or xmas eve mornin - hello, xmas eve is my bday and I am NOT going to the mall - he'll have to go it alone.

I did all the shopping for both families.

DH flat out forgot to buy me a Chanukah present, and went out THAT NIGHT to buy me something. (We had been at the mall the night before)

When we went to my ILs to give them their Chanukah present, they said 'Oh, I didn't realize we were exchanging gifts' and hadn't bought us anything. (This, of course, after I spent the WHOLE NIGHT of Thanksgiving listening to MIL ask BIL what he wanted for Chanukah and not *once* asking DH or I what we might like.)

My FI does everything at the last minute. He is giving all his siblings Amazon gift certificates, which he will do on Friday.

He handles his family, I buy for my family. Works well for us.

my dh went out yesterday to pick up a few things i asked for and he has been ordering from stores on line for the last couple of weeks.

I do most of the shopping mostly because DH HATES shopping and I like it!!!!!

He just picked up a few Gift Certificates that I asked him to.

He only really needs to shop for me which to my knowledge he has not done yet but he has been on vacation all this week & is until xmas eve so who knows what he has done while I was at work!
