I went to try on dresses today. I had tried on a ton of dresses before so knew basically what I liked. I was looking for a detachable train, satin bottom with beadwork around bottom and some kind of tank top or sleeves. I saw one in particular with beautiful beadwork but it had a cathedral train, it was strapless and had organza over satin. Nothing like what I was looking for. Then I saw the price tag (it was half of others I had tried) so I decided to give it a shot I loved the way it looked. It really stood out compared to the others. My mom and aunt loved it too so I ordered it
Then I pull up the designer's pic of the dress and I don't like the way it looks in the pic. Now I am second guessing myself. What the hell is wrong with me?
Did anybody else love the way a dress looked on you and hate the pic from the designer?

i ended up with a dress that i thought would have looked horrible on me for my figure, and it ended up being the most slimming dress i tried on.... no one is going to see the models pics on the wedding day, they are seeing you!

YES!!! My dress looks HORRIBLE in the photo on Mary's website. It is in ivory, shown from the back and in shadows. I SERIOUSLY had to go BACK TO THE SHOP TO LOOK AT IT!!! I thought I made a terrible mistake!
but, when I 'visit' my dress...I am sooooo happy with it....I LOVE IT!!! I just cannot look at the pic!

ME!!! I hated it on the hanger before I tried it on... and then when it came on, I was still a little iffy about it, but I know that this one's the one!!!!!!!!
If you love it on you, that's all that matters!

You really can't tell anything from the pictures. I don't really like the picture of my dress b/c it doesn't do the detailing justice. On the other hand, there were dresses that I loved in pictures that looked absolutely ridiculous on me!
