Did anyone actually hear of or actually have everyone they invited come to the wedding

My list is at 115 people (adults) being invited. I only wanted 80 to come and my mother swears she cant cut the list anymore. I am wondering what are the chances of at least about 20% saying no.

God i hope not!!!!

I have 250 on my list and only want 150-175. The majority of our list is OOT so I think we will stay in that range but I guess you never k now.

My sister had 2/3 of her people come and that's about average I've heard!

We have over 130 on our list, unless I decide to invite co-workers. But FI is from Wisconsin, and we don't expect a lot of his family to come. I also have a lot of OOT friends and a few OOT relatives. I am thinking that we'll have about 80 or so, which is fine. I don't want anything huge. Luckily we both have small families.

I think around 20% no's are the average.... so you might be right on target! I DEFINITELY hope everyone on my list doesn't show.... I only want 175-180 but my list is currently at around 240!!!

I invited about 210 and ended up with 145 people - I missed my minimum of 150!!!!

Wow, it sounds like i am not the only one in this boat!! our origianal list was about 250, we managed to cut it down to 120 - and GEEZ did we start some fights!! whoo. If we had 100 guest show, we would be thrilled.

ive heard 20% doesnt.

if you have sent out your invites already, let us know what your avg. was!! Im so curious to hear from someone!!

We sent invited 79 ppl. and 71 came.

we invited about 160 and 150 showed..JUST made my minimum to get the room I wanted. I could've invited coworkers and all, but didnt want to start a 'War' and I had just started working the job a few months prior. If I wouldve invited my whole family (you know, cousins you dont see ever!!) my list wouldve simply been 250 or more ! Just kept it to close relatives and friends!

I only wanted 150 we invited 190 and so far 30 have said no so I think I'm pretty much on target!

I doubt anyone had everyone on their guest list attend unless it has 10 people on it. We didn't even have everyone that said they would attend at the wedding.

I think the smaller the guest list the lower the decline rate. I think it would be higher if a lot of people are travelling.

We invited about 120 and we had 117 guests.(I expected about 90). And none of those guests were last minute adds or anything..they were all A List invites.

We invited 305 and 240 are coming. More would have come if it weren't gradulation weekend.

We actually ended up with more people than were invited. Simply because MIL did not give us the correct number per family and people basically added whom form the family they wanted to come.grrrrrrrrrrrr

generally about 20% say no - and usually it may be some people you don't expect - we had a friend of ours who wound up not comiing b/c it was her babay shower that day - poor thing cried!! - plus some other relatives who had other events....it soemtimes depend on the time of year, what else is going on, how far they have to come, etc. too!
