Car rental was going to be my next question.
This is the kind of thing I had in mind - basically a group discount.
Anyone know yet what happens if fewer than 10 people end up buying tickets?

Yes i am thinking about doing this as well.
Funny you guys should mention rental cars... I was thinking about looking into his.. but i was if this could be done.

Yes, if you click on the link, scroll down to proposals, one option (above the wedding option) is people leaving from differnt locations to the same destination.

I just called American and did it over the phone in 5 minutes. The lady was really helpful and included a discount also with Avis for car rental.

She didn't mention anything at all about having to have 10 people use it. She said that guests just call up and give the code or they can use the discount code on line.

We arrange for them on AA and on Delta. I don't think Delta does it anymore though.

I never heard of making air travel arrangements for OOT. Perhaps if you have a webpage you can post sales from some airlines.

I just did this through e-mail with American since I read the post this morning. They said the discount would be valid for anyone coming into JFK, Laguardia or Newark. Also 'We do not hold you to a number of 10 passengers and there is no obligation to you or your guests to have the discount code set up.'
