Did anyone else drink like a fish in High School and now wish they had done normal things like STUDY??

OMG I was a lush! I really can't believe myself when I look back.

I spent most of my HS days at Glancy's Bar on the corner of 14th Street (with my friends the Beastie Boys) instead of gym class, etc & so on ...

Well, when I wasn't stumbling around Irving Plaza (then it was called the Roxy) I was drinking beer in Prospect Park (there's a name for people who do that isn't there? Oh yeah - they're called BUMS!)

I was square in HS but college I drank like a fish. I kinda regret it.

i drank a decent amount in HS. I was at my first bar at 16- yeah how illegal is that!!!

If it makes the lushes feel better I was a total delinquent in highschool, instead of the honor student I was meant to be (that's my mother speaking, lol). I would have been drunk a lot more often if my baby face didnt keep me out of most bars, but I was definitely known for never knowing when to say when

no, actually, i wish i drank more and had a more social high school career...i was a goody goody and looking back, i wish i was a bit naughtier. oh well.

I remember we used to keep beer coolers in one car, and have hard liquor in another car. Those were the days.

I was a complete late bloomer!!! I didn't start drinking until college (I didn't even have my first cigarette until college). I more than made up for it though!!!

I didn't drink in hs, but i caught up in college.

there was one semester alot of us didn't go out - I think we all had internships on Wednesdays and Fridays (our teachers weren't stupid when they set that up) and I also had student teaching most of the week - we all got really good grades that semester!

I didn't drink in hs either - maybe an occasional wine cooler. But in college I became a huge lush....don't regret ti one bit...went out a lot and drank alot but was always responsible with school (even made my 8:30 classes)...graduated top of my major...some of my 'bar' friends were shocked when they would find out...they were like but you are a lush!
