Did anyone else drink like a fish in High School and now wish they had done normal things like STUDY??

I became a total lush in college, especially sophomore year and after. Then I was even more of a lush after college. And I'm pretty much a lush now!

I was so tired of drinking from HS, that I didn't drink in college!!! And also because you apparently needed fake ID in Albany.

If it makes the lushes feel better I was a total delinquent in highschool, instead of the honor student I was meant to be (that's my mother speaking, lol). I would have been drunk a lot more often if my baby face didnt keep me out of most bars, but I was definitely known for never knowing when to say when

It really doesn't make me feel better that I was a lush and a delinquent!!!

How did I graduate with a regents diploma?

I wish I studied LESS and drank MORE in HS! I didn't drink at all, got good grades, and for what? Everyone who drank and got bad grades is now more successful, AND at least has good fun memories of high school!

My oh My did we drink in HS & college!! I was a goody-goody most of 9th and 10th grades until I met my first real boyfriend who introduced me to drinking and smoking (I still managed to make it to the national honor society in HS) ....but my group were partiers. We used to drink at the park, the school bleachers, the beach, the golf course....everywhere in HS. Then we used to get into this bar on Hempstead Tpke senior yr called Panama Jakes that served underage people. There was also a deli that sold underage kids beer and we would steal hard liquor from our parents. I cant believe we did that back then...my friends laugh at how crazy we were.

Forget college- I drank like 4 nights a week by my sr yr! The only I regret is starting smoking because it was really hard to kick the habit and maybe drinking less in HS & college wouldve been better since I wouldve maybe had more direction ! But, Im glad I had fun and have those memories.

Oh goodness! I hate to admit it but I remember having a bottle of stoli stashed in my locker in 11th grade. We'd buy bottles of Sunny D in the caf, dump out half, and fill the rest with vodka. I'm surprised we never got caught!!!

I didn't really drink too much in high school. I had this psycho coach for lacrosse who knew everyone in town and would've booted me off the team. In college, I was out of control though. I think I hit my peak (or low, depending on how you look at it) when I was drinking in the library. Let me rephrase: I was mixing vodka tonics complete with shaker and plastic cups on the top floor. My semi-boyfriend had a paper to write and I thought the drinks would make it more interesting. Maybe it's my fault he took an extra year to graduate?
