Did anyone else have any issues with pre-cana (vent)

FI and I went to the opening meeting of pre-cana tonight, and we found out we can not do it this time around. They claim they are very accomodating, but when it comes to FI schedule (NYPD) they would not budge and told us to call the diocese of Rockville center to see what they can do. They basically pushed us out the door. FI and I went and complained about the way we were treated. We are SO agrevated, granted we have until Nov. to do pre-cana but unfortunatley due to his rotating schedule WHO knows if will ever work. Thanks for listening. I guess I will call tomorrow and give you all an update.

That really ****s! How rude! What do they expect you to do? what church are you from? we go 2'morrow for our opening meeting. I'm a little nervous. Hope they will work with you. Good luck!

I am sorry to hear this!
John & I did precana in the same place his cousin (NYPD) and his then fiance did it.
They had no problem working around his schedule. Call the Diocese and see what happens, someone has to accomodate you.

IF time is an issue, try looking into a place that does it in one day. You go on a Saturday from like 9-3 or something and then you're all done. MIght be easier for you.
