Did anyone else want to scream when they were doing invitations?

Invitation week is upon me...

Monday night I had the Calligrapher girl come to my house.

We worked from 6pm-12:30

Tuesday we worked from

6pm-1:30
Thank God we finished the envelopes last night, but I have had appox 5 hrs of sleep and am running on empty.

Tonight I am putting the stamps on,

and then tomorrow, my FI, my parents and sis and I will do an assembly line to stuff them..

I can't believe what an arduous process it has become...

my advice to everyone, make sure your list is typed out, and pre scanned to a T before you start writing them out!!

is it Friday yet?

Ugh. This upcoming weekend I will be working on the invites. I am so not looking forward to it.

Stamping and assembiling is not that bad. I mean, it's not fun, but we did most of ours (94 to be exact) in one night. You can do it!!

Invites have def been the thorn in my side. Getting addresses was torturous.

Even with a good list, you come up to last minute questions. Invitations are definitely a pain.

Yes, I wanted to scream...

I printed up the envelopes myself and it was the most fun I ever had. NOT!!!!!!! The printer was being stupid and messed up 15 envelopes ... good thing I had extras. I think the lined envelopes might have been too thick for it. Anyway, it gets better. When you see them all done and lined up for you, you get a sense of a big, big accomplishment.

Sealing the envelopes was an ordeal- make sure yours are secure before you put them in the mail!!!

Hang in there.

As soon as they are mailed you can take a super long nap.

Welcome to my world. My envelopes arrived from the calligrapher on Monday. My best friend and put together all the invites and wax sealed 1/2 on Monday night. It was a late night. We finished them last night... and they are going out tomorrow!!! I was too tired to go to the post office today. But my god, what a pain - this was my least favorite task. Just think though - soon you'll be done and they'll be out!!!

I'm still in the process and if you can hear me, I'm screaming
I've been printing the inner and outer envelopes myself and that in and off itself took almost a whole week. I have square invites and it was such a pain to customize the program to my size and then to try and position it!!!!
I should have them addressed, stuffed, sealed and stamped by the middle of next week!!! and then off they go

Worst project yet!!
and I thought the petal cones were hard!

thanks that's comforting that some else out there feels my pain! And also comforting that you're giving exactly 2 months as well. I was beginning to think compared to everyone else I wasn't giving enough response time. thanks!

Omg, I'm working on these now and I can't wait for this process to be done with and finally put them in the mail!! This has been one of my least favorite parts of wedding planning!!
