It sure looks it but it would have to have been at least 3 years ago - Ventura hasn't been on the Mets in that long. Weird. I remember being at a Met game when I was like 7 and a Lee Mazilli hit a bird with the ball he hit (a line drive to the outfield) and it fell and died on the field. I could believe it of Randy Johnson, he pitches that hard.

It didn't look real. YOu don't see the bird, just the feathers.

Sadly you do see the birds body fall. And a lady in the stands starts pointing too.

cocoa - look to the left of the screen and you will see the bird ...how sad
