and pass the 3 hour? I just got the results back from my 1 hour glucose tolerance test and I failed, so now I'm stressing. I have to go back for a 3 hour. Is it possible to fail one and pass another?

Hopefully that one will be fine. my dr is giving me the 1 hr test too - I hope I don't fail! I couldn't handle a restricted diet

Yes I failed the 1 hour and passed the 3 hour test!!! Definately bring someone with you. I felt weak and dizzy after the test. Also, bring a book (3 hours is long and boring!!) and a snack to eat after the test is done. I just read that 85% of the women who fail the one hour test pass the 3 hour test! Good luck and keep us posted.

I took my one hour a week or two ago and I am assuming no news is good news. I am sure you'll pass your 3-hour - good luck!!

I have to take the one hr. early (16 weeks now) due to a family history of diabeted. will probably be going on Friday so I will think of you. I will be going at least 1 more time after that. If I pass I have to go again for the 1 hr at 20 something weeks. If I fail now I will have to take the 3 hr. Good luck!

I am taking my I hiour tonight. I am praying that i pass... It seams like a lot of people do not pass the one hour.. maybe there is somehting wrong..
Did you have to fast for your one hour? I don't I just have to drink the entire bottle of Gulcola one gour before.
I feels sometimes there is no consistancy between all these test we take.. evey Dr says something different.. So who is right????

Yes it is possible to pass the three hour test. I am not sure if you were required to fast or not...but depending on how high above the limit of passing you are ( I believe it is either 130 or 140 depending on the lab/Dr) on how good of a chance you have on passing the next one. I believe anything below 160 is a good sign of passing the 3 hour but not always a guarantee.
