Did anyone 'fib' to your bridal salon about your wedding date???

I recently ordered my gown & told them my REAL wedding date- I didn't even think to tell them an earlier date. Then someone informed me I should have lied & said an earlier date!
Have most of you done this??? I wish I would have known

I told them I was getting married 1 week earlier than I am. And the same for the BM's dresses- this way they'd HAVE to have it done by then!

I did, sorta!! I got my dress at David's. When I went for my first fitting, they asked me when the wedding was, so they knew when to have things done by, so, me knowing I wanted it back earlier and I wanted to give them a date that was a week earlier , I said my wedding was February 2nd. Well, here comes my genious mom chiming in saying, no its not, its February 7th. I turned to her and gave her the look of death. So the lady thought I was crazy and I said, no its Feb 2nd. So I then turned to my mother and said, don't you think I know when my wedding date is??
