Did anyone get a planning book?

I was just curious what everyone's style for organizing their planning has been?! Any thoughts / ideas?

I'm going out for a bit but I'll be back later (in case you wonder why i post a ? and don't respond! )

TIA

I was actually thinking about this recently. I have all my wedding stuff organized a few drawers, plus files on my computer...I should get a planning book though

I printed mine from bliss.com, punched them w/ a 3-hole punch, and put them in an avery binder. Small enough to fit in a tote on meeting & appointments and large enough to print on regular paper

I just got a three ring binder with dividers and pockets. I don't need anything fancy. I just keep my planning stuff in there until I book then I just keep my contracts. I have a lot of photo ideas saved on the computer though.

I have two planners
one FH got off the statefarm website and the other one we got as a gift after we got engaged.

I haven't really used them, as i am in an early stage of planning.

You girls are so organized and creative!!! My planning book consists of a 99cent spiral notebook, and a calendar hanging on my fridge!!

FH's sisters got me a planning book from B&N. I love it! It's so much fun to fill out and it definitely keeps me organized.

Mom just got me a planner wedding keepsake thingy. Honestly I just use folders for each vendor and a pocket folder for idea. I am just filling out the book with details to have. But i know as it gets to a few months prior to the wedding i will be typing out lists.

Re: Did anyone get a planning book?

I got one but I really never use it. Instead, I'm using a 3-ring binder from Staples and I bought clear plastic pages that you can slip things in. Every time I see an ad from a bride's magazine with something I like, I put it in the binder, so I have pages and pages worth of stuff to flip through. I have categories: dresses, flowers, decorating ideas, etc. I think I'll just take that with me when I go to look for gowns, florists, etc.

Wow these are all great ideas! Thanks girls - I was just at B&N with my sis and just browsed and couldn't decide - but I like the idea of just a binder with folders in it. I guess I have some time to 'get organized'!!

We are going to the RH in 2 weeks when FH gets his butt back up here!! Yay!

I have the state farm one but it is huge! Someone told me to create a registry with JcPennys and get their planner is very good and smaller. Other than that I have a notebook for ideas I'm going to get something smaller so I can get started
