Did anyone get a sleep positioner for baby?

Which one and do you like it?

I hated mine. Nicolas kept scooting down toward the bottom of the bassinet and then his head was between the positioner's sides. I was afraid he'd turn his head and suffocate.

We registered for one but I wanted other people's opinions. It doesn't look like its too comfortable. Maybe we're better off just swaddling the baby all the time instead of this.
What do you think?

I actually have done both; used rolled up receiving blankets and a positioner. Right now, Emily is still using her positioner, it has a foam pillow type attached to it and it has memory foam so it molds to her head (nice & soft) and she does sometimes wiggle down by morning but for the most part she stays between the wedges.

We registered for this one. Is this a good one?

That's the one we used. If your baby isn't a wiggler, it'll be great.

Sue, The one you registered for was the same one I had, almost. The side pieces were round. I used it all the time with Luke. The pediatrician said to vary his sleeping positions (back and switching sides), it was especially helpful with him sleeping on his side. He looked very comfy. I use to throw it in the wash if he leaked through or every few days, whichever came first. Of course once he was rolling, we stopped using it.

I'm glad that you were happy with it. I was also thinking of possibly this one:
Opinions?

This one was recommended to me, so I'll probably be getting it. It's the one with memory foam as well

I didn't see that one at the store. I don't think they carry that one.

NovemberSue - I have the one that you are registered for. I really loved it. It is the only thing that helped me get a little sleep in the beginning. I used it until she was about 2 months old when she didnt need it any more. I dont think that it would have worked for her after that. She moves around too much.

Sue, I got the one susans recommends from BabiesRUs. I hope my baby likes it too.

Ok, thanks. Hopefully we will get some use out of it. Thanks for all your help.

Damien was a wiggler too. I would wake up in a panic because his fac would be pressed to the side

I had the memory foam one and hated it. Emma wiggled

Ok, so I will keep the one there that I registered for and if I get it, I'll try it out.
If it doesn't work for our baby, I'll return it.
I guess it will work for some and not for others.

sophia hated hers. i got the one you posted sue - she didn't like it - i think she felt confined - she also didnt take great to being swaddled....she was kicking out of it be week 2. I roll up receiving blankets and wedge then on either side, and when she naps i like to put her on her side since i am watching her, and sometimes I just push her little bear behind her back to keep her there. (when she rolls over on her back during a nap, she wakes up...)
