Did anyone have...

a different date they wanted to get Married? I wanted to Get married this oct. but Fh wanted to wait. He would have waited 3 years! no thanks! 2 years is long enough for me. I guess it made sense bc we have no money. but WOW i would be getting married THIS MONTH!!!!!! Anyone else?

i wanted to get married in december - but FH though that was rude to everyone in the family....because December is so expensive to begin with!

100% correct!!! I'm happy with January too - my main thing was cold & chance of snow!!! We're winter peeps anyways!

When we first started talking about getting married (before we were engaged) our date was 11/25/07.

I wanted November this year FH wanted Nov next year so we compromised and when the ring came, we decided to come in the middle.

He didn't think we had enough time to plan it but I still disagree.

i def. wanted may but i wanted the 17th so our anniversary date wouldnt change but since saturday is the most expenside day to get married we chose not to.

We had a date set for 10-11-08
but we moved it up.
and no... i'm not pregnant. everyone asks that when i tell them we upped our date!

Yea... and all my ideas were/are for an October wedding so the planning has not been easy at all.
I am glad we moved it up though. I can't believe that it'd be a year away still!!

I wanted to get married in '08!!!! But we pushed it til '09 because we didn't want to struggle with money (even though,I'm sure we still will!!). I guess its for the best..at least thats what I keep trying to tell myself!

We were hoping to get married in July but there were no dates left at our RH in July. Not really a big difference from Aug 1st though.

I was torn between May and October. But since we were already waiting two years to get married I didnt want to wait 3 more months...LOL. 2 years is long enough without having to go another 3 months!!

We are getting married the day we met!! I went to the church and made sure that date was available...once it was approved from them, i only looked at halls that had that date available, and wala!

We wanted Oct. 12, 2008 but since the rates drop in Nov. we figured why not wait a few more weeks -- especially when you have over 300 people every dollar counts!

we originally wanted 10/17 but it didnt work with both the church a nd RH so we went with 10/10 and now im glad it worked out this way ... 3 day weekend for Columbus Day

(ahhhhhhhhhhhh 1 YEAR!)

I kinda wanted mid June or end of June but couldnt bec we were trying to work with everyone in the BP's schedule. I wanted June 7 bec my parents got married on the 7th but the hall only had the first so the first it is. The first of the month is good luck for the greeks
