Did anyone have any problems with invitations not reaching guests who live in apartment buildings?

I can't believe FH's dad did not receive our invitation. He lives in a 55 & over complex in Babylon. They all have individual mail boxes in a main room. If someone else got their mail, I can't believe they wouldn't give it to them. I lived in apt. complex for 8 years and I always gave people their mail when it was delivered to me by mistake. It really annoys me, because I have very few extra invitations.

I used to live in a building in Long Beach, and my cousin had mailed my invite to his wedding without putting the apartment # on it. It was returned to him.

My invites were in a box envelope (NOT flat) and my friend's mailman BENDED IT IN HALF and shoved it in her mailbox! I was so mad, but she got it. One of my other friends didn't get hers.

We had 3 people not get their invitiations or were sent back and ALL of them lived in apartment buildings.
What are you going to do?

I had a problem with an apt. in Brooklyn. They never got their invite, and it never came back to me either. So weird.

we only had one invitation returned to us... and it was for a guest who lives in an apartment in a home in the same zipcode as us... the note on the invitation said 'address doesn't exist', yet we didn't make an error....

we handed it to her, in the end

We found out last week that 4 people didn't get their invites, 3 live in Ridgewood/Glendale and 1 in LI. Also about 5 people who I called when my rsvp date came and went and I hadn't heard anything from them told me that they had mailed it out but I never got them. 2 being my aunt & my cousin so I know they mailed it out but we never recieved it. I am so fed up with the post office
