Our attorney mentioned this yesterday. He said something about a dye and flushing. Did anyone have the test? Is it really worth it? Any details?

I never heard of that. I know our engineer was able to determine there was a sewer problem in the house we're buying. We had the seller get Roto Rooter in to unclog it, and we got Roto Rooter's 1-year guarantee from them when we went to contract. I noticed it was $500 to unclog it (although Roto Rooter IS known to be expensive), so if the sewer check doesn't cost much it could potentially save you a chunk of money!

I have never heard of that either. We are lucky and have Sewers also and not a cess pool eventhough we are in Suffolk.
