Did anyone hear anything about the OAKDALE ABORETUM?(UPDATE..I Found out INFO)

I heard that you need a permit now and that your photographer needs some kind of insurance??

Did anyone hear anything about this??????

**UPDATE:**
I spoke with my photographer and he told me that there is now a $50 fee and you have to pay $6.00 a car. Also, you photographer has to show their insurance to them so they are put on file.

I guess the Aboretum(sp?) wants to start making money too!

It wouldn't surprise me. We had pictures taken inside the Holtsville Ecology Center and we needed to make an appt in order to be there, which sometimes is called a permit. Another bridal party showed up at the same time as us and were turned away because they didn't make an appt. As for insurance, your photographer should be insured anyway. But check with both places. The photographer I met with over the weekend mentioned this. It's a $50 fee. Talk to your photographer about it - he/she may be able to arrange everything for you, or at least know more about it.
