Did anyone invite themselves to your wedding?

I cannot believe the number of people that did this to us!!!!

At least 5 people in total invited themself. One of which I refuse to send an invitation to bc I dont talk to her much! I never mentioned she was invited but last time we saw her she tells FH that they are going to try and make it! I was like W-T-F???!!

The others prob wont even come bc they are OOT!!!! But it is just so rude to say 'Make sure I get an invitation' or 'dont you need my address' How can you invite yourself and then you arent even gonna come bc flights are too expensive! Hey its good for me...les $$$ out of my pocket! But seriously its so rude!!!!

PS - These people that invited themselves were never really close friends...that is why they were on the B List.

i was thinking it was rude..i had few friends just assume they were allowed to bring a guest

but like month before the wedding we were SO under our minimum that i was BEDDING people to come cause i had to pay for like 40 platesno matter what

yes, we have had about 4 people attempt to invite themselves to our wedding, good times!

Did you politely tell them no...or will they just figure it out when they dont get an invite.

It's so rude to invite yourself!
People have no idea!

we have talked about it, and laughed about it, I have now shared it with you but we haven't decided how to deal yet.

We don't have a b list, I guess we could start one!

yup i had quite a few people ask where their invite was...i told them they didnt have one! and we can not afford to invite the world sorry! lol its annoying just cause you know someone doesnt mean you should invite them to you wedding!!

Jenn it happened to us and well we gave in with that couple..

But DID not give in with the randoms for guests!!!

One of my mom's cousins boyfriend who I met for the first time invited himself to my wedding, Ivec had several other people who I haven't spoken to in years just pop out of nowhere and say 'I better get an invitation' the nerve of some people

Thank God we haven't had this happen (yet). I can't imagine ever assuming I was invited to someone's wedding!!
