Did anyone lose a DOG??

So I found this stray dog this weekend - he is soooooo sweet - happy - young - trained...so cute....Did anyone lose one - terrier mix...near or in queens....

I can't find his owners - the shelters dont want to take him - I have called everywhere (but if you have any suggestions Ill listen!)

My husband doesnt want to keep the dog - I am 7 mo. pregnant and its just too much right now....

what if no one wants to take him - what do I do with him?!?!?

Oh, how sad. Did you try contacting North Shore Animal League? I would try to give them a call. Good luck.

Also try little shelter in Huntington. Have you checked onpetfinders.com?? they have a lost and found section.

Whatever you do,don't call the no kill shelters,
go down with the dog and offer to give a donation.

Most dogs nowadays have the chip in them so that their owners can be traced. You may want to look into taking it to a vet that can do this. Good luck and keep us posted!!
