I didnt have anything until my emergency C/S with Emma.

I didn't have an epidural or any kind of drugs with my second baby - I had one with my first, only because I was in labor for 3 days, I HAD to rest! I must say that I am very proud of myself for doing it all natural it's a sense of accomplisment I guess

my first daughter i had an epi but she was 6 wks early and after being in labor for 36 hrs i figured enough was enough! my second daughter all i had was something to stop the vomiting no other drugs after that! this baby hopefully will be the as drug free as the last!

potassium? do you mean Pitocin? If so my Dr will give that to me on Tuesday if this baby doesnt come out, and I will be having an epidural as well

I had a pitocin induced birth and no epidural....I would have taken the epidural if i could- but i couldnt get one due to my low blood patlet count....the pitocin gave me very bad contractions- but at least my labor wasn't long....i got induced at 10am and my baby at 1:30pm...i pushed for about an hour...

Yes...lots of women. A PIT labor is NOT the same as a natural labor. You should question why a doctor wants to use it. Bradley method/Hypnobirthing method moms have less use of pain medications.
